A simple trip to purchase an Apple Watch turned dramatic for Press Secretary Sean Spicer when a woman decided to question him for his views live on Periscope.
Shree Chauhan, who describes herself as an “education advocate” on Twitter, attempted a brief interview with Spicer inside the Georgetown Apple Store in which she peppered him with questions.

“How does it feel to work for a fascist?” she asks. “Have you helped with Russia stuff? Are you a criminal as well? Have you committed treason too?”
“Thank you,” Spicer responds, smiling. “It’s such a great country that allows you to be here.”
Spicer completed his purchase and quickly left the store.
“I realized what an enormous opportunity it was to get answers without the protections normally given to Mr. Spicer,” she wrote. “I was honestly quite nervous and wanted to come up with more cogent questions but did not have time to do so.”
Countering Spicer’s response to her questions on camera, she wrote, “That is racism and it is an implied threat…I am still stunned by the boldness of having my citizenship threatened on camera.”
Spicer has not commented on the incident.
